It was just an ordinary "zho cao" stall at the first glance but it proof me wrong. This is a stall ran by the a lady boss who just got married recently with 2 of her Myanmar workers. She serves marvelous dishes that are hard to get in Malacca.Besides, the lady boss had an extraordinary life experience which i am solute.Anyway, this is her personal issue and all my concerns are just food and food and more FOOD......
Prawn Paste Fried Chicken.I am addicted to this so much as it has salty and crispy batter while super juicy flash inside. Especially when it served pipping hot.....
Just some extra Fried Bean curd with fish paste from the lady boss as snacks.
Prawn and Squid Indonesian Curry. The curry Santan (Coconut Milk) was replaced by full cream milk.Hence it gave this dish a light but creamy broth. Something different from what we normally have. Tasted a little like those Malay's Masak Lemak but not as heavy as that and omitted the disgusting oil.Lastly, not to forget the generous amount of fresh and succulent prawns and squids....
Salted egg yolk string beans. It was ordered by my JB's house owner randomly.Never in the menu. And now i understand why, cause they were totally not match.
I did not know how much this meal came into but I believed they would not be too costly because it is located in housing area and their main source of customers come from the neighbourhood. However, these were just a tiny proportion of their wide variety of dishes.Definitely will come back to try the other dishes. My house owner said their Hokkein Mee is mouthwatery as well. :)
