篷莱福建面 @ Jalan Genting Klang

Gosh....i can't have enough of their Hokkien mee!!I am craving it almost every week.....=.=''

This is another charcoal fried hokkien mee i have tried other than the famous Kam Lin Kee.However,I find that Kam Lin Kee's Hokkien Mee is overrated and lack of Oomhh. In turn, this hokkien mee is so much flavourful and have had enough of 'wok hei'. No doubt that both are good in omitting alkaline taste in the noodles.

They start business from 7pm till 4am the next day. This is a family business which runs by father and son. Father cooks from the business starts until about 12am or 1am than will take over by his son late nite. I prefer the hokkien mee cooked by his son though, cos it's so much tastier!!

However, the dad is good in cooking Wan Tan Hor.RM 6 for a single portion, the amount of meats and prawns given was satisfactory.

Didn't bother much of the Sambal (chili paste) as it still have the raw chilies taste.I dun admire it anyway...
