Most of the tourists had known about boiled cockles because it is one of the Malacca signature dish. The one that located at the back alley beside Madam King's emporium was the most popular stall among locals and tourists. Not to say that the stall is bad but if u are hygiene conscious and didn't wish to squat in the dark and dirty alley to consume those delicious bivalves, maybe this is a stall that you could give a try.

A plate of Boiled bivalves and the chilies paste to dip. I specially like the chilies paste that was added with generous amount of grounded peanuts in to a mixture of chilies paste and prawns paste.A dash of freshly squeeze lime juice was added as finishing. Perfectly done!!!

Mee Goreng(p/s: less spicy). A malay style mee goreng with slightly modified with Chinese taste. I like it as it is not too spicy and not too oily.I think Aunty had modified it to suits most of the Chinese favour here.

Sotong Kangkong salad. I find it too sweet for my liking and the sauce was abit watery.A plate of Boiled bivalves and the chilies paste to dip.
