Pretty Photo and Delicious food always have the power of calming my emotion down.Had been in SBTL mode for the past few days .By Reading lots of food blogs with fabulous foodie photos do make me feel better and HUNGRY, of cos.OMG.....There is so much to updates when flipping through my folder but my time just so limited( i also wonder what i had been busy with?! @.@...i am a bad planner or just simply lazy.....:P)
Anyway...There is a great news to share that i had found back my doggy on Wednesday! He had been shelter by a not-so-near neighbour for 4 days.Really very kind of them to bathe, feed and treated his fleas. I got a shock when i found that he had so many fleas on him that make me shoot straight to vet after collected him. But the vet say his collar is an anti fleas collar(got such thing 1 eh...i also very very blur when he say that it is good enuf for him) and his fleas is almost dead.He came back and sleep dead til i have to called him few times to make sure he is actually still breathing. He is now taking supplement and vitamin. Sound so much like an old fork.-_-""".However, He is healthy and seriously being spoil now.Everyone kinda give him extra tolerant and attention, even my dad too!!!!lolx......
Back to the Post.I Had been search for Paella after i came back fr Groningen, but seem that Risotto is more popular in Malaysia or mayb i did not explore more in Spanish Restaurant. This is the First Spanish Restaurant i been in Malaysia,Thanks to Ing Nee that suggested this place and drive me there.Woohoo.......I am aBad terrible driver in KL.Ing Nee was actually craving for their pork rib but i insist to have the Paella.Soli la....haha....
Bread that serve before meal.BBQ pork stick marinated in Spanish style. Not impressive but juicy and it serve fast!!
This is the Mix Paella we ordered. With plenty of shrimps, squids and big pieces of chicken.Squeeze with lotsa lemon juice to reduce the greasiness.Taste wise, not memorable, but not a bad try.Another down part is we have to wait for bout an hour for dish to be serve.Frankly speaking, is a sit-until-my-ass-pain experience. The portion is big enuf to be serve for 3person. RM88 per Serving.
Frozen Paella from Aldi supermarket with only 3euro ++.By the way,Aldi is a German supermarket chain that sell most economic grocery in EU other than Jumbo and Albert Heijn(ah).Their price is compatible and they do sell delicious frozen food like,Ostrich meat, pork Gorden blue,Snichzer and not to forget of their frozen cakes....yum yum....Will only Go Jumbo for Lay's Cheese and Onion chips and ah for their superb candy popcorn.I finish one of each pack every week.wahahaha...too much eh?!;P
Back to the paella. All u have to do is just take out from the freezer and chunk it in a wok or pan ,covered, heat it for about half an hour, stir it every 2-3minus. The frost gave a balance moisture to the rice,so there is no extra water or oil need to be added. And they just had the ability by letting each of everything cooked at the same time.
It is so cheap yet the topping is also generous. With every mouthful of chicken, shrimp, squid, fish fillet, chipolatas. It taste marvelous as i love the strong relish of capsicum and a thin flavour of saffron.Although each packet stated serve 1-2 pax but keep in mind that they are referring to European portion who can finish the whole pizza by their own.....^^.
In conclusion, personally still prefer the cheap frozen paella from Aldi but no where to get in M'sia.
Misson ON,Search for nice Paella in town.....
