Surisit Thai Kopitiam @ TTDI

Following food blogs had become my daily routine. There are many type of bloggers, some are professional as journalist , some are part timer and there are also mean for interest. Besides those professionals, I always thought that those bloggers write their post with the utmost honesty.I do not expect it to be super delicious as different people have different liking and their own taste. However, i can hardly accept the restaurant which highly rated served low quality of foods.

This is the restaurant I came across from several food posts. It is highly rated for their Thai pork dishes. So we went on last Friday since i constantly crave for Thai food recently. Do expect more Thai's for the next few posts.

The restaurant was not air-conditioned but it was quite cozy at nite. No grand renovation but gave a feeling of comfort and relax. It is just a place that you would come for every dinner.

Plain Water @ RM1.00. Just the ordinary H2O.

Thai Pragant (fragrant???typo i believe) Steam Rice @ RM2.00. Can really taste the authentic thai fragrant rice.

Mun Thod Gapi (S) @ RM 16.90. The aroma from the curry leaves was impressived when it first served on the table. However, the meat were not heavily marinated and no taste of curry leaves. After dipped with the sauce, it was more tasty.U could find this on almost every tables in the shop. The worst part was when i got a piece of pork fat where it had very strong of porky smell. cold....

Yam Woon Sentalay
(S) @ RM 12.90.black fungus, cherry tomatoes and glass noodles with prawns and squids. I personally like the taste of its sweet and sour relish. I dun mind paying this price for a plate of greens plus seafood but please do not serve it with soggy or nearly rotten seafood!!!!That tasted just like those we can get it in the Mamak stall, sometimes. This really irritates me to the max!!!

Torb Tim Krob @ RM5.90. Lacked of Nangkak favour and better if can use fine shredded ice.

Photobucket
Mango Pulut @ RM8.90. Not outstanding but it was nice too.

Maybe we did not ordered their significant dishes like tomyam and Belacan fried rice, but serving with not fresh ingredients is unforgivable especially with their prices.Anyway, i would not go back in the future. How bout you?!
