A meal that so call "slaughtering" by my brother. We went for lunch way back in April.
Pardon me for not remembering the details. Anyway, the most remarkable for me is their location, quite difficult to be found.As i remember i called the restaurant twice and still asked a waitress from old town for direction.
The whole environment was quite casual with high chair and table. However the table setting looks classy. No finger print on the glass. ^^
Considerable bag hook. I like it but Malaysian seems do not have this habit of hanging the bag under table as there was customer left without her bag.
Hot chocolate.Less chocolaty as i expected.Not memorable.
Lemon juice. Adjust according to your own taste. Lemon juice, syrup and exclusive TAU mineral water. Slight moaning that no stirrer was provided. The sweetness sank to the bottom of the glass which make this more sourish than it should be.
Compliment Bread and salted Butter. The butter was marvelous!
My main course. Salmon fillet cooked on skin,steam leeks and celery chutney @ RM50. Crispy skin with a dash of salt.Just done salmon fillet that remain its juiciness. The sauce was impressive, super to go with salmon fillet.Made its taste more outstanding.
Veal tenderloin like a Gordon-blue ,Potatoes in two ways in a Parmesan chess tube @ RM59.
The Beef was tender and juicy. Simple yet tasty as i like.On the other hand, the tube contain creamy source on bed of drooling fried bacon and surrounded by the crispy Parmesan chess.They make an impressive combination.I can hear my taste buds were shouting in joy. ^^
My return to the chef. cos is totally not dividable.But it was still as pretty as a picture,isn't it? * thick skin once again*
Red Fruits Pavlova,Raspberry shot and Strawberry Sorbet @ RM 23. This was the best pavlova i ever have...Meringue crust embedded with a ring of raspberry shot channel and a light,air
y egg white custard.Topped with sourish strawberries, raspberries and blueberries and mint leaves.Not to forget their sorbet....could taste the real texture of strawberries pieces,smooth and flavourful.
Without the Macaroon, this meal will be flawless. However, how can we leave without trying it as it rated the best macaroon in town.Partly should be blame to my high expectation. It was not as good as what i have had in Paris, especially the pistachio where the filling were so sticky till it stuck in between my teeth. =.=. Lime and lavender were average.RM 4.50 each.
