This is Mama's favorite Japanese Restaurant.Or more appropriately it is kinda stall style which located just in front of Carrefour in Dataran Pahlawan where it had closed down recently. We used to visit there once a week until i made a brake on it. However, mum is still craving for their sushi. And now we would visit it once a fortnight.
No doubt that they provide the best quality of Sushi in town. I love their firm and nicely hand compressed Sushi's rice. Hold it with chopstick and it will never fell apart. They are every generous with the topping too.It is always fully covered the rice. Moreover they will never let you down on their fresh seafood.
Salmon Belly(harasu) Sushi. Top of my order list. The belly was thick and evenly spread of the fat, fresh and succulent. Yummy..yummy....
Unagi Sushi. Mum's favorite. I am,however, not too keen as I prefer the thicker slice. Am i too greedy??^^
Baby Octopus Sushi. A mouthfull of big,fat succulent of mini octopus. OMG....this eventually brought me to heaven. However, the octopus was not always that big and fat. Sometimes it was quite "skinny" as well.
hotategai.
Lightly broiled salmon, topped with mayonnaise and alfalfa sprouts.
Fusion of Malaysian's Ikan bilis. But was not impressive.
Salad Rolls. Green aquatic plants, pickles, sliced green apples and cucumber and then rolled them up with lettuce.Finishing up with lines of mayonnaise. This was a good refreshing dish after taking plenty of fried stuff.
Tempura Mix. Just the mixture of Sweet potatoes and prawns. They do not provide other vege tempura. But doesn't mind that, sweet potatoes tempura was just as good as the other.
Plain Miso soup. Warmth, plain but delicious.
Seafood Miso soup. Very generous of the seafood. But the sweetness was too much of liking. I felt sickening when reaching the end.
White tuna and Salmon belly Sashimi. The Butterfish was much nice to serve as Sashimi because of the thickness and succulent texture. Reciprocally, salmon belly is better serve with rice. This was purely my preferences.Try out yourself to find out which suits your taste buds most.
